apple pie:
this is my take-along to dinner at a friend’s this evening. i don’t know why i chose today to try a new recipe for the crust, and this new recipe gave me trouble, although now that it is cooked it looks great; probably the prettiest pie i’ve ever made.
it just so happens, this friend is a former gourmet chef, having worked at some of seattle’s finest restaurants. i’m sure whether or not it tastes good, she’ll tell me it does. that’s a good friend :)
